<p>You got called for a job interview and got through it unscathed. Now you&#8217;re being called back for a second interview. It&#8217;s a promising next step, but you&#8217;re not hired yet. You&#8217;ll have to perform well in this second round &#8212; and it all depends on how you prepare.</p>
<p>In the first interview you probably met with someone from human resources and a hiring manager, each for about 30 minutes. In this second round you&#8217;ll likely be interviewed by several senior managers, both inside and outside of the department you&#8217;re applying to work in. You&#8217;ll likely meet with some of your potential new team members too.</p>
<p>The first interview was a broad screening; this one will be much more in-depth.</p>
